A joint project with Trumpeter, here's Pit-Road's 1/700-scale kit of the Nimitz-class carrier CVN-73 George Washington, representing her in 2008 when she transferred stations to Yokosuka, Japan, replacing the aging Kitty Hawk. You have the choice to build this kit either as a full-hull or as waterline model. Multiple pieces each of F/A-18C, F/A-18E, F/A-18F, EA-6B, E-2C, SH-60F, and HH-60H in clear plastic are included. Photo-etched parts for small antennas are also included. The model will measure 48.1cm long when finished. The inner lid is made of blue plastic with ocean surface detail on it, and can be used as a display base if you build this kit as waterline. A separate display stand is also included for the full-hull version.
