Assembly Guide:Skill LevelCement (Y/N)Paint (Y/N)
Product Overview:This item is an injection-plastic kit of a science-fiction/anime item. It requires both cement and painting to complete or use.

It's the fantastic FS-1 Flying Sub, from Irwin Allen's "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea!" Making its debut in the second season of the show (along with a refurbished Seaview), the manta-like Flying Sub went on to be one of the great iconic science fiction vehicles of the 1960's. This fantastic kit from Moebius Models features a whopping 34cm (about 13 1/2 inches) wingspan, and includes a full interior, Aurora-style display stand, and colorful instructions with history, assembly, and painting tips. Although the landing gear and tailhook are not provided in the kit, the lower hull features pre-scribed gear and tailhook doors with molded-in detail on the inner surfaces, giving the ambitious scratchbuilder a good head start towards building a "dirty" (gear and tailhook deployed) Flying Sub. An excellent kit of a fantastic subject!
